TikTok to MP3: Download TikTok Audio with Its Name and Cover
Paste a TikTok link and save its sound as MP3. Keep TikTok's original file, or pick MP3 320, M4A for iPhone ringtones or WAV for CapCut. Choose the clean sound or the audio as heard in the video, with the sound name and cover already filled in.
Save only sounds you made or have permission to use. Songs stay owned by their rights holders.

How to convert TikTok to MP3 in 3 steps
- Copy the TikTok link. In the TikTok app tap Share → Copy link on the video. On a computer, copy the address from the browser bar. Full links (tiktok.com/@name/video/…) and short links (vm.tiktok.com/…, vt.tiktok.com/…) both work.
- Paste it in the box above and tap Get sound. You see the sound's name, who made it, the cover and the length before anything downloads.
- Pick a format and tap Download. Keep MP3 original for the best result, or choose MP3 320, MP3 192, M4A or WAV. The file saves with the sound name, artist and cover already filled in.
No app, no sign-up and no watermark: an audio file has no picture, so there is nothing to stamp a logo on.
The sound itself, or the sound as heard in the video
Most TikTok converters only give you one thing. Tube Snip lets you choose where the audio comes from, because a TikTok can carry two different sounds:
| Choice | What you get | Pick it when |
|---|---|---|
| The sound itself | TikTok's own sound file: the song or original sound the creator picked | You want the song for a ringtone, alarm, playlist or your own edit |
| As heard in the video | Exactly what plays in the post: voice-over, effects and music together | You want a speech, a voice-over, a joke or a podcast-style clip |
If the creator talks over a song, "the sound itself" usually gives you the clean song and "as heard in the video" gives you the talking too.
TikTok to MP3 320 kbps: which format to pick
We checked how TikTok stores sounds: the sound file is an MP3 at 128 kbps. Converting it to 320 kbps makes the file bigger but cannot add detail that was never there. That is why MP3 original is our first choice: it is TikTok's file copied as it is, with no second round of compression.
| Format | Bitrate | Size for a 60-second sound | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| MP3 original | 128 kbps | about 1 MB | The best copy of the sound, plays everywhere |
| MP3 320 | 320 kbps | about 2.3 MB | Car stereos, DJ apps or players that ask for 320 |
| MP3 192 | 192 kbps | about 1.4 MB | A middle size for older players |
| M4A (AAC) | about 128–256 kbps | about 1–2 MB | iPhone ringtones and Apple Music |
| WAV | 1411 kbps | about 10 MB | CapCut, Premiere, Audacity and other editors |
So when a site promises "TikTok to MP3 320 kbps HD", the honest answer is: the 320 file is a real 320 kbps MP3, but it sounds the same as the original. Pick 320 only when a device or app asks for it.
Sound name, artist and cover, filled in for you
TikTok captions are long and full of hashtags, so most converters save files with names like video_7641765082724125970.mp3 or a 150-character caption. Tube Snip names the file after the sound and writes proper tags inside it:
- Title: the sound's name (for example "original sound - creator" or the song title)
- Artist: the sound's creator
- Album: TikTok
- Cover art: the post's picture, cropped square
- Comment: the link to the post, so you can always find where the sound came from
Your music app, car screen and phone lock screen then show a proper title and cover instead of a grey note. Turn Add cover art and the sound name off if you want a bare file. WAV files never carry tags.
Even out loudness sets the file to −14 LUFS, the level Spotify and YouTube play at. Leave it off to keep the sound exactly as TikTok has it, and turn it on when a sound is much too quiet or too loud next to your other music.
Where the MP3 goes on iPhone, Android, Mac and Windows
| Device | Where the file lands | How to open it |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone (Safari) | Files app → On My iPhone → Downloads | Tap the file to play it, or share it to GarageBand or CapCut |
| Android (Chrome) | Files or My Files → Download | Tap it to play, or pick it as a ringtone or alarm in Settings |
| Windows | Your Downloads folder | Double-click to play, or drag it into your editor |
| Mac | Your Downloads folder | Opens in Music or QuickTime; drag it into any editor |
On iPhone, if Safari asks "Do you want to download…?", tap Download. The download arrow at the top of Safari shows the file once it is saved.
Use a TikTok sound as a ringtone, alarm, WhatsApp status or in CapCut
Android ringtone or alarm: save the sound as MP3 original. Open Settings → Sound → Phone ringtone (the name differs a little between brands), tap the + or From storage, and pick the file in Download. For an alarm, open the Clock app, tap the alarm, then Sound → Your sounds.
iPhone ringtone: save it as M4A. Open the GarageBand app, start an Audio Recorder project, tap the loop icon and import the file from Files. Trim it to 30 seconds or less, then tap Share → Ringtone. It appears in Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone (Apple's guide to iPhone sounds).
WhatsApp: to send the sound in a chat, tap the attachment pin, choose Document (or Audio on Android) and pick the MP3. A status is made of photos and videos, so for a status put the sound under a photo in CapCut first, then post that video.
CapCut and other editors: save as WAV for editing, or MP3 if your phone is short of space. In CapCut tap Audio → Sounds → Your sounds or Extracted, or simply import the file from your device. Tip: use "the sound itself" so the original voice-over does not end up under your own video.
TikTok to MP3 not working? Here are the fixes
| What you see | Why it happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "That is not a TikTok link" | A profile, search or music page link was pasted | Open the video and use Share → Copy link |
| "This TikTok is private or needs a login" | The post is private, friends-only or age-restricted | Only public posts can be saved; ask the creator for the sound |
| "Removed or not available" | The post was deleted or is blocked where our server is | Check the link opens in a private browser window |
| The sound is muted or silent | TikTok removed a copyrighted song from the post | Try "as heard in the video", or find the song on a music service |
| The download does not start on iPhone | Safari blocked it or asked first | Tap Download in the prompt, then open Files → Downloads |
| The file has a long strange name | Cover and tags were turned off | Turn on "Add cover art and the sound name" |
| TikTok took too long to answer | TikTok was slow or busy | Wait a moment and tap Get sound again |
Which TikTok links work?
| Link you paste | Example | Works? |
|---|---|---|
| Video link from the app | tiktok.com/@name/video/7641… | Yes |
| Short share link | vm.tiktok.com/ZM… or vt.tiktok.com/… | Yes, we follow it to the post |
| Link copied on a computer | www.tiktok.com/@name/video/…?is_from_webapp=1 | Yes, the extra part is ignored |
| Photo post (slideshow) | tiktok.com/@name/photo/… | Yes, the post's sound is saved |
| Profile or search page | tiktok.com/@name | No, open one video first |
| Music page | tiktok.com/music/… | No, open a video that uses the sound |
A sound you heard in many videos is the same file in all of them, so any public video that uses it gives you the same MP3. If one video is private or removed, tap the sound's name in TikTok, open another video from its list and copy that link instead.
Is it legal to download TikTok sounds?
Saving a sound for your own listening is how most people use this tool. Reusing it is different: songs on TikTok belong to their artists and labels, and original sounds belong to the creators who made them, as TikTok's intellectual property policy explains. Use sounds you made yourself, sounds released under Creative Commons, or sounds you have permission to use, and credit the creator when you post. TikTok's own sound library is licensed for use inside TikTok (see TikTok's Terms of Service), which does not automatically cover YouTube, Instagram or a paid project.
Tube Snip does not keep your files: the converted sound is deleted from our server within 30 minutes.

Questions about this tool
How do I convert a TikTok video to MP3?
Copy the video's link in TikTok (Share → Copy link), paste it into the box at the top of this page, tap Get sound, then tap Download MP3. The MP3 saves to your phone or computer with the sound's name and cover.
Can I download only the sound of a TikTok, without the voice-over?
Yes. Choose "The sound itself". That is TikTok's own sound file, the song or original sound the creator picked, without the voice or effects added on top in the video.
Is TikTok to MP3 320 kbps better quality?
Not really. TikTok stores its sound files as 128 kbps MP3, so a 320 kbps file is bigger but sounds the same. MP3 original is the best copy; pick 320 only when a device asks for it.
How do I download a TikTok sound on iPhone?
Open this page in Safari, paste the TikTok link and tap Download. The file goes to the Files app, in On My iPhone → Downloads. Save it as M4A if you want to make a ringtone with GarageBand.
How do I download TikTok sounds on Android?
Paste the link here in Chrome and tap Download. The MP3 lands in Files → Download, and you can set it as a ringtone or alarm from the phone's sound settings.
Can I download TikTok sounds on PC or Mac?
Yes. Copy the link from the browser bar on tiktok.com, paste it here and download. The file goes to your Downloads folder.
Does the MP3 have a watermark?
No. A watermark is a logo on the picture, and an audio file has no picture, so there is nothing to stamp. The cover art is the post's own image.
Is this TikTok MP3 downloader free?
Yes. It needs no account and no app, and free use allows up to 20 downloads an hour.
Can I use a downloaded TikTok sound in my own videos?
Only if it is yours, released under Creative Commons, or you have permission. Songs belong to their artists and labels, and original sounds to their creators.
